Boundary Map and Absence Request

Summer programs participants are free to go anywhere within the boundaries set by the program. Participants may visit all restaurants within the boundary. 

Residential participants may never go outside the set boundaries without approval from the associate director.

All absence requests from the program must be submitted electronically through DocuSign for commuter & residential students.

• Submitted by student, routed to parent/guardian and approved by Sonny Hayes
• Residential Students:
  • Overnight absences are not permitted Sunday-Thursday. Students cannot be checked out until after class, and must return to campus by 9:30 PM.
  • Overnight absences are permitted Friday (after class) and Saturday (morning departure).
  • Students are not allowed to use public transportation and/or car services (Uber/Lyft/Waymo)
  • Checked-out students cannot participate in any weekend fieldtrips
  • USC Summer Programs is not responsible for students during approved program absences.
